Hello,
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, my article today is about the importance of gratitude in our physical lives.
Being thankful for all the wonderful things and events in our life is a powerful way to enhance our state of consciousness and recognize the learning opportunities that each provides.
Happy Thanksgiving,
William
Showing Gratitude through Positive Action
There are many changes occurring in our physical world these days, and with modern technology we are often inundated with everyone's opinion, whether we want it or not.
How much of this is distracting us from our truly important life goals? Think about how much energy is wasted by creating and reacting to comments on social media and initiating conversations that promote division in our personal relationships and workplace.
As spiritual beings it is critical for us to look beyond the external drama and recognize the many beautiful things in our life. Compared to the world at large we are abundant in every way, we have the freedom to practice our individual beliefs and pursue our dreams.
I challenge each of you to take 5 minutes and list the good things that are happening in your world. Focus on and express gratitude for the positive aspects of your life. Recognize that an unseen energy principle is always at play in our lives - where our thoughts flow, our reality grows.
It's also important to note that we can make a positive difference in the world by actively providing support and comfort to another. That could be as simple as providing food, clothing or physical assistance to someone who needs it. Maybe you have a talent for counseling, teaching, or being a companion in a time of need.
So we have a choice. We can continue to be manipulated by the collective mindsets that dominate the physical world or we can recognize the immense creative power in our life - the true revolution is the evolution of our individual state of consciousness. What can we do today?
"Connecting with our higher self allows us to experience a transformational shift of consciousness, enhancing our perception beyond the physical body and the ego mind. It accelerates our growth by opening us to our true self —a life-changing experience." - William Buhlman
